wat a pity it will be to let him go just like that. I can still remember the time when Houllier went in for him... All the big clubs over Europe were going for him as well. Everyone in Anfield were praying hard that he will choose us over the Scums. During that period, i log in every single LFC forum from time to time just to check if he had really signed for us. I can still vaguely remember that kind of anticipation i had for him to come and reserrect my beloved team. And the moment i heard that he had signed for us, i breathed a sigh of relief. I looked forward so much for the season to start and for him to set Anfield alight. But alas, he was never the player he use to be at Leeds. Game after game, he failed to impress and this season, he ended up sidelined due to a long term injury. He was never the dancing wizard of Oz when he was in Leeds. Very diasappointing. I really wish Rafa can be patient with him and give him another chance to have a go again. Dont offload him so easily as we had a tough time fighting for him.
