-YNWA-

Yeh, we got defeated by Monaco, we lost both our strikers, we are going thru a rough patch now and people are calling for Rafa's head. PLS...FFS, RAFA has only taken over for 5mths only!!! 5 miserable mths, wat can he do?! Foolier has drained most of our assets on junks (diao, diouf etc) and Rafa has very limited transfer allowances this season and with Liverpool's name going downhill, how many 'Good' players will want to come?! And its all thanks to Rafa that we got Alonso.

i guess we all crave for success but rome wasnt built in a day! Foolier has totally demoralised all of us fans until we can no longer pick ourselves up after a fall. Guys, WE ARE BUILDING A TEAM! pls be more patient and let Rafa straighten things out. Give him and the players some breathing space and STOP abusing our own players after losing a match! Its a slow and painful process no doubt... just bear with the roller-coaster ride for some more time. i'm sure we'll get to taste the fruit of success soon...

WALK ON WALK ON...WITH HOPES IN YOUR HEART AND YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE... YNWA...

Middlesbrough 2 Liverpool 0

To be honest, that scoreline reflects nothing. I felt we played ok and it was unlucky for us to lose. Garcia and Kewell started upfront, that was a desperate move by Rafa in the absence of Cisse and Baros. And true enough, we lack the gunfire. We started the game slow BUT steadily. Despite the lack of strikers, we brought the game to the Riverside and never look like giving up. Garcia had a goal ruled offside but the ball appears to come off from a boro defender. Unlucky and i felt that was the turning point of the game. Had that goal being counted, we could possibly see a different result. And Boro's 2nd goal looked like a suspicious offside. Nevertheless, Steve Bennett gave it to them and thats about sums up the game.

There is one who i ought to mention today that fully deserve to be praised and he is Carragher. This man is really growing in confidence. He marshalled the defence well and kept viduka very quiet throughout. When Josemi got outplayed by Downing, Carra is quick to trap him down. Well done Carra, you have definitely outclass Hyypia tonight.

and the other player i would like to mention is Harry Kewell. Did anyone of u saw that agony on his face when Schwarze palmed his header away? This poor lad loves his club deeply. You can see that clearly. Give him sometime to sort himself out. STAND BEHIND him all the way. "Form is temporary, class is permanent!" I'm sure Harry will pick himself up and be back to his very best!

Lastly, i'm real glad that Stevie G is back. Although he is abit slow and get dispossesed easily tonight, its all but just a warmup for him after being out of action for near 2mths. Despite the lost, lets keep our heads up high. Come on Red Army... Bring on Monaco... We'll march on from here.

Quote of the week...

Referring to Arsenal's 5-4 win over Spurs, Mourinho said: "Five-four is a hockey score, not a football score. "In a three-against-three training match, if the score reaches 5-4 I send the players back to the dressing rooms as they are not defending properly. "So to get a result like that in a game of 11 against 11 is disgraceful."

Liverpool 3 Crystal Palace 2

A minute of silence for crazy horse, EMLYN HUGHES

10 things i have noted in today's game:

  1. Josemi is the weakest link
  2. Josemi should stop going forward
  3. Traore is improving with each game
  4. Hamann plays too defensively
  5. We still lack the creative spark in midfield
  6. Luis Garcia can only run in circles
  7. Baros should try to look up and pass the ball
  8. We definitely need to sign an experience striker come Jan
  9. We need a fast and reliable CB
  10. Rafa will bring us back to glory in Europe again!
