End of Season Roundup

Goal of the season Gerrard's long range effort against Middlebrough A tough fight between this and Garcia's goal against Juv. But Gerrard's goal is my ultimate choice bcos of the distance and how beautifully the ball had swerve into the net. Well taken volley. Brillant! Game of the season CL final vs Milan Has to be the winner. 0-3 down at halftime, dead and buried. Totally outclassed and outplayed. Then we rose from the ash in the 2nd half to level the score 3-3 in 6 mins of madness. Forcing the match into extra time then penalties. And going on to win the European cup for the 5th time. Plenty of goal mouth action, passion and a classic comeback by the Reds. Fairplay to both team and even when Milan threw away the match, there was no complains and whining from the 6 time champions. Roller coaster ride for the fans but that's wat makes LFC so special. Truly a people's club. i'm so proud to be a red! LFC till i die~ Most improved player

Djimi Traore Improved from the old 'Bambi on ice' to the new 'wat a great last min tackle' player. Made quite a few last min crucial tackles to earn us the full 3 pts on several occasions. Hiccuped during the Barnsley match where his own goal saw the team being kicked out of the FA Cup. BUT his crucial tackles in the remaining matches are enough to make amendments for this blunder. A totally different player from last season, all thanks to Rafa.

Best new signing Xabi Alonso No fight. His vision and accurancy in passing proved to be an assest to the team. A broken leg in the early season saw him out for several months. BUT he bounced back strongly and proved vital for the reds resurgence in the CL as well as the PL. Most disappointing player Morientes Last yr's CL top scorer and an accomplished striker. Promised so much but delievered so little. Very disappointed. But give him time to adapt to the english game. Form is temporary, Class is permanent! Player of the Year Carragher (without a doubt) Immense. Held the defense almost single-handedly. 'If you cut him into half, he'll bleed red' lol Full of passion and love for the club. Give this lad the Captain's armband! Team for nx season: ---------------------Cisse-------------------- -------------------New AM------------------

----Riise----Gerrard----Alonso----Garcia---- --NewLB----NewCB----Carra-----NewRB-- ------------------New GK------------------- Backups for first team: Carson (GK) Traore (LB) Finnan (RB) Josemi (RB) Hyypia (CB) <-- hard on him to be reserve but hes getting too slow and we need a new and young CB to form a steady partnership with Carra Whitbread (CB) <-- shall we partner him with Carra and try it out? Hamann (DM) Diarra (CM) <-- get him back ffs and give him a chance to show his worth Nunez (RM) Kewell (LM) Warnock (LM) <-- i prefer him player as a winger Pongolle (ST)

OUT: Diao (waste of money) Diouf (if only his attitude is better) Pelle (awfully s.l.o.w.) Dudek (too many blunders) Baros (just cant fit into our style of play) Smicer (released) Cheyrou (just where the hell is he???)

Undecided: Mellor (just cant perform in the PL) Le Tallac (not enough PL experience. Needs to go on loan to a PL club) Biscan (cant decide whether to keep him as a squad player or to sell him. average player) Kirkland (not good enough. if he were to stay, he'll most prob end uo to be the 3rd choice GK)

CHAMPIONS

i woke up this morning with a bad headache but who fucking hell cares?! I had a long night yesterday and it all seems like a dream to me.

If you think there can be no fairytales in the game call soccer, then you are dead wrong. Yesterday, every single soccer fan from around the world witnessed a fairytale ending for a team who went MIA for years in the european soccer arena. A club full of history and a strong force in Europe who went missing for years is BACK! Just when everyone thought we were dead and buried during half time, we rose from the ash and levelled the score in 6 minutes... 6 MINUTES OF MADNESS. Even the best defence in the world couldn't stop this resurrection.

Milan were 3-0 up as early as the 40th min. Maldini scored from a setpiece just 50 secs after the game started and the Reds were thrown into state of frenziness after that. The defence was caught many times and Milan just pierced thru us. Traore was awful marking Shevy... playing him onside on many occasions. Our midfield was simply not there. Gerrard was anonymous. Milan's midfield, led by Kaka and Pirlo came in waves. 2 outstanding passes from Kaka to Crespo saw the Argentine struck twice into the net, making it 0-3 at half time. Apparantly Rafa's gamble to play Kewell upfront to give the strikeforce a cutting edge turned out very wrong. Fortunately (???) Kewell injured himself early, forcing Rafa to bring on Smicer before halftime

Every red fan in the world and the crowd in Istanbul were shocked and despondent. We thought we were dead and buried. I just prayed that the scoreline will stay reputable or maybe we'll get a consolation goal on ourside. The crowds at Istanbul sang on...

The 2nd half started. I prayed we will not get slaughtered (like how our neighbours were against Arsenal). Milan came in waves again but thank god Traore cleared from the line, keeping the scoreline stagnant. And the fairytale started when Didi Hamann came on for Finnan. Gerrard was pushed upfront and Captain Marvel led his team to one of the greatest comebacks in history.

He first scored a header from Riise's cross, then created a chance for Smicer to slot it past Dida just outside the six-yard box ... making it 2-3 in just 2 minutes. The travelling KOP sang their hearts out, drowning the Italian supporters. And its this '12th man' who pushed the Reds on in search of the equalizing goal. Milan went amonk after letting in 2 goals in 2mins. The reds were everywhere in their half and the most experience defence in the world broke down. Just when Gerrard was thru on goal, a panicky Guttaso came from behind and brought him down. 'Penalty!' says the Referee from Spain and Alonso calmly step up to take it from the spot. It was a great penalty taken BUT too bad Dida pulled out a world class save. Alonso was the first to the rebound (hey! where's Jaap Stam?!) and this time round, Dida could do nothing about it. 3-3 the score and i believe every single reds in the world was stunned by the fightback. UNBELIEVABLE.

Milan was taken aback and the blow proved too strong for them as they took quite a while to settle. We went to sleep after the 3 goals and allowed Milan to attack in waves again. Rafa brought on Djibril Cisse for the ineffective Baros (who might be playing his last game for us). We did initiate some attacks but it was Milan who dictated the game for the rest of normal time. Jerzy Dudek pulled off some world class save to deny the world class Ukrainian striker during normal time and in extra time. By then, every player in the pitch was already exhausted and many went down with cramps. Play was slowed down and Milan chose to throw in Rui Costa at the dying minutes. Thank god he was ineffective and the game went into penalty shoot-out.

I hate penalty shootouts. Its simple too much for me to take. I closed my eyes when Serginho stepped up to take the penalty. And when i opened my eyes, he had already hit the crossbar. YESH! Then came Didi and he coolly slotted the ball home. Dudek was playing mind games with every penalty taker... something Dida ought to learn from him lol And Milan's most reliable penalty taker Pirlo failed to deliver. GOOD SAVE DUDEK! Great imitation of Grobbaeler's wobbly legs. He simply mismerized me in between the poles last night (and i'll always remember this no matter what). Cisse was next and he sent Dida in the wrong direction. Milan's sub Tomasson scored the first pen kick for Milan and he dare not even look at Dudek in the eyes. Riise's penalty kick was stopped by a fullstretched Dida. Another great pen save! Kaka and Smicer both scored from the spot. Then up comes Milan's last penalty taker... Andriy Shevchenko. If its out, we win. If its in... i wonder who was spared the anxiety of taking the last penalty lol Dudek dives the wrong way BUT somehow gets a hand on the ball as Shevy sends it down the middle... Ahhh... must be Shankly's spirit blessing the Reds from heaven. Shevchenko shakes his head in disbelief but who fucking cares?

The stadium erupted. The players went wild. Even the most tensed person (who else but Rafa the master tactician) on the field smiled. The European cup is finally BACK TO WHERE IT BELONG!

LIVERPOOL FC

'hottest' transfer candidate for the week

Peter Crouch
No! No! No! Paying £5m for a basketball player to play soccer is ABSURD! With Cisse and Mori in the team, i cant see how this guy can break into the first team. Besides that, we have Pongo as well. It will be such a waste of money to pay so much for this guy to warm the bench. If we were to play him up front, we will revert back to the 'ball hoofing' tactic used by GH ... single dimensional, defensive and boring. So please say NO to Crouch!
John O'Shea
Who cares if this guy is a manc?! £2.5m for him is a good bargain and he is a solid CB imo. And its time we get someone to replace the aging Hyypia (i seem to be repeating this sentence after every match). If he can form a good partnership with Carra, we'll have 1 of the greatest (& youngest) CB pairing in the league. Furthermore, this guy is familar with the PL and can definately settle into the team fast. Besides that, he is a childhood LFC fan and i think he'll be most willing to play for us. John O'Shea for LFC? YES!
Owen Hargreaves
Many people think highly of him but for me, i dun really rate him that highly. He's just an average squad player and can never replace Hamann immediately. Althought he plays in the German league, i wonder if he'll need time to adapt to the English game for he plays for the England national team as well. But if we were to sign him, i hope Hamann can stay and coach this guy for at least a season.

Baggies stays up!

Wat an amazing relegation battle. WBA, Norwich, Crystal Palace and Southamptom all struggling for survival today. And boy oh boy, who would imagine the team lying at the bottom of the table would leapfrog the other 3 teams who failed to win their matches and go on to clinch a place in the Premier League next season? Well done Baggies!

The day started brightly for the Saints when an O'Shea's o.g. put them ahead. And it was more good news for them when relegation rivals Norwich and Palace were each down by a goal. Then disaster strike. Darren Fletcher drew level for the scums and Palace got the equalizing goal. Norwich by now is out of contention after being 2-0 down at half time. They went on losing 6-0 at the final whistle. wat a shame. It was all very quiet down at the Hawthorns.

Soton started the 2nd half strongly but Van Horse's header dealt a heavy blow to them... just after news of WBA's goal was announced. By then the Saints were both mentally and physically drained. There was a twist in the battle when Crystal Palace went 2-1 up thanks to AJ's penalty kick. Soton never found a way back. WBA went 2-0 up in the dying minutes and Charlton's late equalizer against Palace ended the relegation battle. Suddenly, the Baggies found themselves up and lying on the 17th position... safe from relegation.

With Norwich, Palace and Soton down, i think its time we get some good quality players cheap from them. Great players up for grabs are mainly Wayne Routledge, Antti Niemi, Henri Camara, Dean Ashton and Aki Riihilahti. Deffo not Peter Crouch.

£3million for Baros?

Aston Villa is prepared to make a £3million bid for Reds striker Milan Baros. Baros, LFC's top scorer has recently admitted his frustration at the amount of playing time he is currently getting at Liverpool. However, Euro 2004's golden boat winner has denied that he's fallen out with manager Rafa Benitez. He claimed that he has some offers and he'll leave that to his agent. Baros hasn't ruled out having to leave in the summer, BUT won't take a step down and move to a lesser club.

So dear Mr O'Leary, i doubt Milan will be interested in your club and £3million for Euro's TOP SCORER is P.A.T.H.E.T.I.C. Thats only a quarter of what Barcelona was prepared to pay for him last summer. And i think even AJ is worth more than £3million let alone a classy player like Baros. I guess u should either up your bid by 2.5 times and pray that Baros chooses your club OR forget about it.

Bye Bye Scums!

sometimes i cant help but feel sorry for the scums. OH... wait a minute. What did i last said? SCUMS??? TO HELL WITH THEM!!! lol

just cant wait to see wat will happen to the 'greatest club in the world'. 500M in debt? hahaha... i'm waiting to see them go into administration like Leeds Utd. Wat a joke. Man Utd???

FOREVER IN OUR SHADOWS!!!

RAFA SELECTS HIS TOP FIVE REDS OF 04/05

interesting pick. full of praises for his defense. Rafa is right, as a manager, its not right to pick out individuals. so well done every single lad who contributed to the team! But can we have some consistency in PL matches nx season? No more corners to turn roller coaster rides huh?

its Carlsberg again

According to TEAMtalk, its believe that Carlsberg will continue to be our sponsor once the old contract ends. How much we'll get from the deal has not been announced yet. But seriously speaking, i would rather we get a better deal from a new sponsor. The amount we are getting is miserable as compared to teams like Arsenal, Chelski (forget it, they have a sugardad!), Manure. I really fancy myself wearing a new kit with a brand new logo than Calrsberg again. And can we find a new kit sponsor as well? Rebok's jersey sux! It dun absorb sweat at all and the shirt smells when you start to perspire (worse for us people living in tropical countries). Yes... the bloody authentic jersey (i dun buy pirated ones!!!) produce a funny odour everytime i start sweating. Can i request for Adidas? At least i dun smell when i wear their 'ClimaCool' shirts.

OOPS!

May 09, 2005

Thank god its not Milan!

3-1 the final score. Totally outplayed and outclassed by the Gunners. We fielded a strong squad. Both Pelle and Moro did not even made it to the bench despite them being match fit, so i think Rafa is using the remaining matches to prepare the team for the Finals. Rafa opted to play the 4-1-4-1 formation again, with Baros playing as the lone striker up front and he chose Riise over Kewell to play that left winger position. Using this term 'a match of 2 halves' to describe the game is just too apt.

We were woeful in the first half. And i thank god if the news of Reina joining us is true because Dudek was at fault for Arsenal's first and 3rd goal! Imho, i think he can do better to not concede this 2 goals. I cant imagine what the scoreline would be if Thierry Henry had played today. Arsenal's attack just come in waves, hitting us left, right, center. And our defense looked so lost forlorn today. Hyypia aka Pellegrino II, was awfully S.L.O.W(i seem to be repeating this sentence day in day out!) to react and he gives the ball too often to the opponents. Its time we get a new CB ffs. Carragher was a pale shadow of himself on Wednesday...most probably still recovering from fatigue after giving his 200% in the CL match i guess. Finnan was totally outclassed by Robert Pires. Traore spared from further embarassement as Ljunberg is out injured. But his speed in coming back from attack is terrible and was often caught out of position.

The midfield was not there. We could not hold the ball and kept losing possession to the Gunners. Milan Baros is just his usual self... running around like a headless chicken and jumping onto defenders.

We played much better in the 2nd half with the introduction of Cisse and Kewell. Gerrard's deflected goal in the 51st min gave us a lifeline. As we go in search of the 2nd goal, the midfield looked more lively and we managed to hold the ball up front. Cisse just look better and better every game. START WITH HIM IN INSTANBUL!!! The combination of Gerrard and Alonso looked lethal and this injected creativity in our attack. But no matter how we attacked, Arsenal's defense stood firm (all thanks to Sendoros... wat a youngster). And we only had ourselves to blame for a string of missed opportunities.

In the dying seconds, Arsenal caught us flat-footed in defense and Fabregas fired home to ensure a sounding victory for the Gunners. And after the final whistle gone, my instant reaction was to thank god that we are not playing Milan today. Looking at our defense today, we will be slaughtered by Shevchenkov if we were to play against Milan! We always look so vulnerable during counterattacks! I hope Rafa can do something about this Achilles heel of ours before we set off for Istanbul.

Sigh...Its just another episode of our Premier League rollarcoaster.

SHUT DA FUCK UP you sour grapes!!!

My uncle, an ardent manc scum, came up to me just now and told me straight in the face that LIVERPOOL is just lucky to be in the CL finals. Many Chelski fans (big time glory seekers cum ex manc supporters) here over in Singapore felt the same way too. The semi final has been wellover for 4 days and yet people are still arguing about whether the ball has crossed that fucking line or not.GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!!

Reaching the final in a UEFA CL compeition is by no means lucky. From the qualification group stage (beating Olypiakos, Deportivo and Monaco) to winning Bayern Lev in the top 16 and winning Juv in the quarters, we have played and won every game fair and square without any dubious decisions made in favour of us or to the disadvantage of our opponents. Its all thanks to the brilliant work of Rafael Benitez that got us through every single game so please give us the due credits and not take things away from every single Liverpool player who ran their socks off on the pitch.

As for the semi-final match against Chelsea, Rafa got his tactics right again. Chelsea could have try to kill off the game at Stamford Bridge but too bad, they were unable to break us down. So blame it on who? In football, dropping deep to defend is one legal tactic. I dun see anything wrong for Rafa to adapt that tactic. IS there any rule in FIFA's code book that says a team must attack and can't defend? Dear Mr Mourinho, we can adopt any strategy we want as long as it can help us win the game. If Chelsea were to go ahead early, can you promise me you wun switch to a defensive tactic? And oh Mr Mourinho, the best team won the match ffs! Open your eyes and take a look at the match stats... we had four SOT compared to your 1 SOT. How long did your 'THE SPECIAL TEAM' took to trouble Dudek? After an hour! So wats the bullshit about the 'best' team lost the match??? And that goal, if you insist to probe further, then why not we take a look at Terry's illegitimate goal that sent Barcelona crashing out? Why dun you say your team is LUCKY to face us in the Semis instead??? We should be facing Barcelona in fact. So wat the hell are you complaining about?! You are such a bad loser! I think you should learn more from Rafa, not only his tactics but also how to be more gracious and humble in defeat. If you think your million dollar team is invincible, think again. Let me bring you down to earth for this instance... the 4 victories you had against were all LUCKY ones. You had never won Rafa tactically. NEVER! It was Joe-$face Cole who got all the lucky winners for you but alas, he ran out of luck in the semis... TOO BAD! We are on our way to Istanbul so just shut up and concentrate on splurging more $ on more 'special' flops nx season

To our manc frens out there, you lot should in fact thank Liverpool for winning Chelsea. At least your treble moments will not be overshadowed so soon by a team who 'buys trophies' rather than toiled for them. so why are you lot moaning? Sour grapes huh?

And to Arsene Wenger... shut up you fool! Arsenal just cant perform well in Europe so blame who? If you gunners are that good, how come you cant advance into the final stages and knock Liverpool out then? Stop belittling the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLE! It is a title only TRUE CHAMPION of euro deserve. What happens if you lose to Man Utd in the FA Cup? Then i guess Mr Wenger will say its a mickey mouse cup not worth the effort huh? Like wat fergie did seasons ago but look wat he is doing now? He's so desperate for trophy even the FA Cup will be a great acheivement for him lol So pls Mr Wenger... every cup is something worth playing for. Dun play down the value of the competitions. IF you are not so keen in the CL, why dun Arsenal withdraw from it nx season and let the 5th team participate?

May 04, 2005

FUCKING COOL~

ISTANBUL... HERE WE COME!!!

I'M SORRY... U R OUT!!!

WE WON! We won... thanks to a great tap by Luis Garcia. It doesn't matter whether that fucking ball went across the line or not. If the goal has not been given, Cech will get the red card and Pool gets the penalty and imo thats an even worse senario for Chelski. So Chelski fans, will ya just SHUT DA FUCK UP and concede defeat?!

Great game full of passion form the Reds. I guess the prima donnas in Blues just couldn't give a damn as long as they can get their fat paycheck as per norm. And the BEST NEWS of all... EVERYONE (accept those with injures) CAN PLAY IN THE FINAL!!! 3 cheers for Rafa aka Master Tactician. He got Maureen frowning the entire evening. Hahaha... i've never seen his face so BLACK before.

And did you see Rafa in the dying minutes? He went amok giving instructions and shouting to the players lol Wat a game... and 6 mins of extra time?! WTF! That man in black must be CRAZZZY. Gosh... i'm sprouting nonsense right now... going ecstatic~

SSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

To Kezman: i'm sorry, we got thru instead. Any explaination how you missed that simple head down from Dogbark? To Lampard: Move over you dirty fat twat! To that crazy fan who ran onto the field: Wat the hell were you doing you stupid idiotic arsehole?!?!

May 03, 2005

WE'RE ALREADY THERE, says Kezman

source: The People FORGET a red-hot Anfield on Tuesday night - Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman insists Chelsea have already won through to their first Champions League Final. <-- Here! here! I've found that pathetic 0.01% LFC fan who do not believe we are already in the finals The semi-final tie is passionately poised on a 0-0 knife-edge, but Kezman is convinced Chelsea are on their way to Istanbul on May 25. And he poured scorn on the fabled <-- well, if u insist, we welcome you to expirence it urself at anfield tonite power of the Kop to drive Liverpool on to European glory Kezman said: "Yes, it will be a very big atmosphere at Anfield and they talk a lot about atmosphere there. But last time I didn't see so much. <-- That's bcos u r not even on the pitch u idiot! "It's more history and more tradition - we are not afraid. "Our team has a lot of experience <-- *stunned* i din realise the Stamford Bridge Brigade wasnt build in a day. oh... i forgot, the Stamford Bridge Brigade was BOUGHT in a day lol to cope with that, so that's no problem. "Because they are playing at home, the crowd will push them to go forward more. "I'm sure that will be good for us. We are going to get the space and we'll get chances. "Football is a strange game <-- indeed, nowadays its a wonder even trophies can be bought by the riches of a Russian mafia, but I am almost sure we are there in Istanbul. I'm sure that we're going to play in the final." *yawnz* Kezman's blinding self-belief is sure to rile the football-mad Merseysiders <-- neh... we wun fall for your mindgames u BLOKE!, but his confidence is based on Chelsea being unbeaten in four extremely lucky meetings with Liverpool this season. The Blues won away in the Premiership on New Year's Day and beat them in the Carling Cup Final at Cardiff in February due to many lucks, an own goal and the additional man on the field aka the EMIRATE sponsored referees. And Kezman insists Chelsea won't be intimidated. He added: "We've shown in another competition a few months ago that it's no problem. We have more quality." Chelsea have weathered the storm at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich this term and, although they lost both times <-- and i believe both were away games?! , they played well enough at home huh? to advance to the next knockout stage. Kezman, a £5million pre-season signing flop from PSV Eindhoven, said: "Anfield is NOT the Nou Camp. <-- dun be dumb kid, Anfield is in England, Nou Camp is in Spain ok? Now go back and study your geography "We know all about Anfield <-- now tell me, how many blades of grass r there on the field? because we play in the same division. "I am sure we are going to score one or two goals there and that should be enough." <-- hmm... wat if we score 3? Gosh, i think your maths is equally BAD! Kezman's confidence is matched by the team's desire to win a Treble which would guarantee footballing immortality. He said: "Our season would not be complete if we didn't reach the European final - that is the jackpot. "You can win the Carling Cup and you can win the Premier League - everyone expects you to win the Premier League because you haven't done it for 50 years. "But you've never won the Champions League and that's the biggest competition in the world. "The season wouldn't be full of happiness if we don't win in Europe. <-- indeed, wat a devasting season this is for you lads. Poor things "We are re-writing the history of the club <-- u mean for Chelski, not Chelsea rite? this season. "If you look at all the trophies I hope we are going to win that is something special. You'd then stay for all time in the history of this club and that is fantastic. "We will do everything <-- including bribing the refs, breaking alonso gerrard's leg, blocking the ball with arms etc to be there and to make that history." Before yesterday's match at Bolton Kezman had made 40 appearances - but only 14 starts - and there are reports he could ultimately leave Chelsea if he doesn't play more regularly. <-- thats becos he talks TOO MUCH! His comments after Wednesday's first leg were in stark contrast to the row that has rocked Stamford Bridge in the past couple of days. Chelsea players have turned on Dutch ace Arjen Robben, who refused to start on Wednesday night because he felt he wasn't fully fit. But Kezman played down the rift, claiming Mourinho's team are the ultimate unit. <-- wat do u get from a big-head manager? A big head squad! Argh... Maureen's vainity is killing me He said: "We are one team and that's most important. "It's nice to get on the pitch but when you are not involved you are behind the team. "If you play for two, four or five minutes, you fight for the team. I am like that. All the players are like that. "At Anfield I think I will get some time to show what I can do and maybe to score some important goals. <-- yeah, dream on... "We put everything on the line to win - it's one of the reasons why Chelsea are the best team <-- u gotta be joking. If every team has a sugardad like you do, every team will be the BEST team in the country in the country.''

  56. Peter Crouch (Soton) i seriously refuse to accept the fact that we are linked to him. Paying £7m for him is simply ridiculous!

Liverpool 1 Boro 1

We busted our chance to reduce the gap between Everton and us. Just another very ordinary match with nothing much to talk about except that beautiful strike from Stevie G. We offered nothing up front. Morientes had a poor match, just like most of the previous matches, nothing unusual. I'm beginning to doubt Rafa's decision in signing him rather than Incredible Sulk. Yah, i know everyone say we should give Mori more time to settle down but it really piss me off to see him idling up front. Most of the time he was not at fault because the service from midfield is awful but he can always come down to the halfway line and get the ball himself. No?!

I am really very disappointed to see the team play this season. No doubt we have alot of injuries that more or less affect the consistency of the team BUT its more painful to see the team play without the passion or rather desire for success! Honestly speaking, i have never see a Liverpool team play so poorly before (esp that Palace game) and this season i have to witness them play like that more than once. I really hope this season will end soon (thank god, 2 games left) and Rafa will have the break to sort his team out. Now i think we should just focus on the CL since the 4th position looked seemingly out of reach (imho).
