wat an awful wk. 3 losses in a row and i dont noe wat to say. watching the match last nite was worse than watching a horror show. we sux totally. the defense was in a shamble. midfield non existence. as for strikeforce... they din really get any services at all. and i cant believe that was my beloved team playing... against a team battling relegation, a team that had only won twice this season.

the defence was woeful. hyppia and pelligrino in the centre -- the slowest pair of CB u can find on earth. Carragher played as a RB... covering for the injured finnan and josemi. Warnock played as a LB. I'm v surprise Rafa decides to break the partnership between carra and hyppia. I suppose he did that becos he cant find anyone to play RB but the partnership bet. pelle and hyppia didnt work at all! In fact, it turned out horrendously wrong. Pelle has poor positioning, was slow to react and half of the time i guess he din noe wat was going on behind. Warnock too was poor last nite. Y did Rafa even play him as a LB?! that man is a midfielder ffs. Y not let Traore play instead?

As for the midfield, riise was quiet. Gerrard was quiet as well... probably due to his injury. Hamann kept passing the ball to the opponent. There was a lack in creativity and we kept pumping long balls up front. and most of the time the long balls ended up with a southampton player. luis garcia? dun mention him. imho, he was the lousiest player on the field yesterday. couldnt trap the ball, cant control the ball, kept losing the ball and his back-flicks always ended up (yes a 100%) in the feet of an opponent. and we didnt fully utilise the flanks... lets just put it this way... we do not have any decent wingers that can actually dribble the ball along the flanks (shall we get diouf back?).

Baros again was the only player that played well last nite. Morientes was v quiet... still adapting to the english game i guess. I noe we going thru a rough patch rite noe esp with so many players injured. but i really felt terrible after the game. losing to southampton is disgusting (no offense). playing that kind of soccer is even more disgusting!!! getting the 4th CL spot is looking more and more impossible. sigh...

Awful first half... absolutely poor performance. feeling terrible rite now... waiting for the 2nd half to start. praying hard at the moment!

Cant we just shut up for the time being?!

After every defeat, most of the lfc forums all over the world will be flooded by tonnes and tonnes of hate messages, asking for the head of so and so. THIS IS GETTING VERY ANNOYING!!! Cant we just shut the fuck up and get behind the new signings and coach instead of taking every single opportunity to flame them?! Yes, Garcia and Nunez have been playing badly recently but give them credits. They are only here for a few mths and slowly adapting to the english games. Give them some more time to brush up (although our patience do wear out at times) and get themselves together. Let the team slowly yet steadily build up this bond between the players.

and pls, to those fans that are attacking El' moro after less than 3 days upon his arrival at Anfield, FUCK OFF! That man is class. He is just tired after all the flyings and conferences. Let him have enough time to communicate with his team mates and adapt to the style of play here first. The type of rubbish that comes out from the fans' mouth nowadays are simply UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Gosh... wat a boring game! Lack of goalmouth action, full of mistime tackles, full of wrongly placed passes and both teams cant even string passes together. I think the Malaysia vs Indonesia match is even more interesting than this match. But nontheless... 3 pts in the bag nuff said.

Now for the individual performance... Diao was awful, i suggest he goes for an eyecheck for he kept passing the ball to the opponent. Nunez was woeful, r u sure he's a winger? he cant pass ffs and kept losing the ball! N for a winger, he seriously lack vision!!! Mellor was very quiet. Garcia did nothing apart from that goal. Riise was back to his fine form, racing down the left flank to participate in every attack. Gerard imo was abit poor today. Warnock was average. The defenders did well except Hyypia (speed and positioning was awwwwful). Carragher played exceptionally well again. Decent scoreline but was a real booooooooring game.

Liverpool 0 Chelsea 1

Unlucky is the only word to sum up this game. I thought we played well in the first half, putting pressure on Chelsea and keeping Lampard very quiet. Unfortunately, Alonso had to be substituted due to an ankle injury and that changed the flow of the game. The introduction of Nunez proved ineffective. Gerrard had to play alittle backward and Garcia could not link well with Pongolle. We missed a few opportunities...Garcia was the main culprit again.

Traore played well and boy... he is growing with confidence doing those turnings and back flips. Well done Traore. Chelsea were lucky with that goal. In fact it took a deflection off Finnan (if i'm not wrong). Dudek played well in front of the goalmouth. He cannot be blame for that goal. Hyypia was poor today, kept banging into Carragher and got caught a few times. Thank god Carragher marshalled the defence well. Garcia faded towards the end of the match... should have introduce Mellor earlier. But nice tactics from Rafa at the start. It was that unfortunate incident that cause us the game. If Alonso continue playing, i'm sure the result will be different. The main concern now is Alonso's and Riise's injury. Hope they will be fine as we cant afford anymore players on the injury list.
